Okay this week didn't make too much money and two of my bigger priced auctions went without return contact to my end of auction emails. One a non working email (she actually had good feedback. And the other has one negative for non payment or answering emails and one other lonely positive. She didn't contact me either. I went to see how Ebay blocks bidder as the one for non payment bids on similar items I sell and saw that ebay says the id's of the bidders that can't bid are shown on all of your auction pages? Has anyone seen an auction with this on? How bad does it look. I would like them to be unable to bid but not advertise that I would block any bidders. Anyone know an auction with this that I could look at? Also after 3 days have past which today is 4 can you contact the second bidder yet. I know that they are interested. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Since I have gotten no response does this mean no one knows what the blocked bidders look like on your auction page? Or have none of you blocked anyone? I just want to preview where it is and how it looks.

The id's aren't shown in your auctions, but id's in your Bid Block list cannot bid on any of your auctions. That's different from the pre-approved bidder list, where it works only for one specific auction, which is probably why they pointed it out.
As for offering the item to the underbidder, you can do that after the 3 business days are up and you've not received a reply. Note, however, that you will be at risk for a negative from the high bidder, so you might want to make another try at contact.

I have never blocked a bidder, some people just forget or don't realize the work and money we go through posting auctions. I use AuctionWatch to do the initial contact with my high bidders. So, everyone gets an initial email through that. Many do not contact me. I usually wait 10 days and either resend the AW email or now ebay has one you can send from you My eBay selling page. After 20 days I use eBays Non Paying Bidder notice. (Usually this gets them if they have not already paid, and usually 96% have by not) After the Non Paying Bidder notice goes out, almost all pay. I still get one once in a while who doesn't. Than I submit with eBay to get refunded for the fees. I feel it's part of doing business.
