Hi,
In the recent past because of RL job circumstances I could never end auctions on Saturday night.
This past month I've had 2 opportunitys to have them end on Sat. night and I have to tell you this about it.

NEVER AGAIN!

They were absolutely dead in the water. Some items I knew for sure(so I thought from past experience) should have been sniped. All closed with the same bids they had gotten in the AM.

Nope, if you ask me Saturday nights is a big NO NO!!

I sell vintage & collectables.

Friday and Saturday have always been my least favorite days (and nights) to list. Mostly, because I don't want the auctions closing on those days or nights.

That being said, I have ignored my own rule and have done some Friday and Saturday listings lately, but more often than not I list them for five days, so they are closing on Wednesday or Thursday.

About every other Friday is killer and I get good bids. Sometimes they are dead though. I would avoid ending auctions on Friday or Saturday nights if possible. Friday or Saturday, during the daytime hours, would give you a better chance of last minute bids (in my opinion).
