Picked up three mitts yesterday - Spaulding catchers mitt - Spaulding 1st base and Rawlings outfielder mitt. Know nothing about mitts but in looking around web these look to be between 1920's-1940's. They all have some mildew, should I clean them with oil or leave them alone? Any suggestions as to how to treat or not treat them and any ideas on age would be appreciated. Trying to attach pictures.

Hi carat01,

you have to put [*img] before the url, and then [*/img] after the url - you'll type this without the asteriks (the *'s) - so it would look like this (without the *'s):

[*img]http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/ca/carat01/.mids/mitt1.jpg[*/img]

Hope that helps,
Sara

Thank you Sarah and Jemma, don't know why #2 isn't coming up - but they'll get the picture (no pun intended?)
