I thought it was 45.....but the auction is only 29 days old and it won't even bring the auction up...says it's no longer in the database.

Write to [email protected] - give them the item number, buyer's ID and tell them this customer did not pay and you are unable to file for your fees. Ask them to credit you. They will credit you, but I don't know if you will be able to put a mark against that buyer.

It is 45 days to file the NPB alert (which has to be filed before the FVF credit). However, auctions are taken out of the database approximately 30 days after completion. You can still fill out the NPB if you know the auction number. Just copy the auction number from one of your emails (EOA notice, etc) and past it into the NPB form.

Auctions ARE in the data base for 90 days. However, after 30, you won't find them by doing a search by seller, or buyer. You have to either go through the feedback to leave, or know the item #.
The non-pay bidder alert must be filed first, BUT under the amount paid, put 0. Then, for the reason, select that buyer returned item and you refunded.
It will NOT count against their record, nor will you have to wait the 7 days. In this case, your fees will be refunded immediately.

Try again tomorrow...may just be a temporary glitch in the system. I have had times when the feedback forum said there was no transaction between a buyer and me and when I go in the next day it recognizes the transaction.

I keep trying to get into the auction page by deleting the # from an existing auction on the url and replacing it with the one I'm trying to get at. It still gives me that error message.
