Ok, so I have been doing ebay for about a year and am getting quite efficient at listing items in a timely manner. But once in a while I make a silly mistake...like mispelling a word in the title. Am I the only one having a hard time getting ebay's site to accept a change??? I either seem to have a problem getting them to accept the change or the verifying the change page. It is so annoying.

This has been a pain in the butt for WEEKS! Every time I try to change a listing, and click the "Verify" button, I get nowhere. After getting the Internet Explorer error page, I have to click "Back" twice, then "Verify" again. It usually works after trying 20-25 times. The other day, it took 42 tries, though.

Keep trying, it works eventually.

Clicking the verify button is not the final click. After you click verify & see your changes, scroll all the way down that page & click "submit changes" That should do it.

Nope, your not the only one listing in a hurry and have to go back and fix a typo - I do too!

But I have not had any problems. Had to revise two today and they went through without a hitch.

Out of every 15 or 20 listings I usually have to revise one or two, but have never had to wait for verification.

One thing I did notice today though, was that when I was listing one item the verified page did not have my description on it anywhere. I knew eBay well enough to know that if I launched it that way, that is the way it would stay. I went back and clicked on the description box where my copy was, resubmitted it, and bingo it showed up - weird.

mcjane,

I actually get either an Internet Explorer "server not found" error page, or a blank page. It takes 20+ attempts to get the page with the "submit changes" button.

I have given up editing because of those problems. Found if I edit using Netscape instead, I don't have that problem anymore. It was driving me insane before and now I just do it all through Netscape.
