Well - most people we know, including us were watching the finale tonight - which is 3 hours long!
As for ebay - no bids received at all - which is definitely not usual for a THU night. However, yesterday was just as slow and Survivor had nothing to do with it

Survivor is much like selling on ebay- you need a strategy; you need to lie once in a while; you need to avoid conflict; you need to form an alliance (with your customers). If you do it better than everyone else, you get the million dollars!
Who would give up such a valuable lesson just to browse ebay?

A fine moral lesson there for any honest person contemplating selling or buying on Ebay!
If you can't be honest with the people you deal with, or with your potential buyers, then don't go undermining the business priciples of those of us that run an honest business using on-line auctions. You are doing the physical inspection for every potential bidder - if you see a necessity to lie then get off Ebay and retail in a field where the buyer has an opportunity to make an informed decision on the goods that they are buying. If you see it as necessary to lie about shipping dates or procedures - the public are not the fools you take them for and they will see when they have been burned or lied to - such attitudes destroy confidence in the on-line auction system and really are UNnecessary.
