I have a high bidder that won an auction last Sunday who has never responded to my 3 emails. This person has no negatives or neutrals. I have waited until now because the person might be sick, on vacation, family crisis, etc. But how long should I let this go?

I'd send an email thru a second server jjust to make sure that your ips isn't being blocked by his ips. Ebay's "mail this auction to a freind" is good for doing this.

If the sale is worth much $, and the above doesn't work I would pull their contact info, and give them a call. If it's a $5.00 sale, I wouldn't go this far.

If none of this works, file a NBP (they will still be able to pay if you do this, and in my experence this seems to get a response out of a good % of non responsive bidders)

Still no response, get your fees, leave a neg if you like, and relist.

Yup Always send an email from a second email address just in case.

if that get no responce you can wait out a few more days a see if an NPB get a responce.

I have had a good many winning biders take up to Two weeks to reply to my EOA and had things work out just fine as well I have had buyer respond to me with there shipping address seconds after the auction ended even before I could send out an EOA and turn out to be dead beats

I've had a fair number of high bidders never respond to either my first or second sending of the EOA over the three years I've been doing this. Nine times out of ten they just send the payment in the mail along with all their shipping info. Guess they think I know by clairvoyance that they got the EOA notice and that they are making their payment promptly. Give them some time for the payment to arrive in the mail and then file NPB and follow Ebay guidelines from there.

Some people just refuse to respond. I still remember a lady who told me she answers her email once a week, and that I should be more patient.

You have to wait a week before you can send an NPB, and a further ten days for the FVF.

If they can't pay or respond in that amount of time, they deserve what they get.JMHO
