I have a set of what appears to be older glassware. I have heard the term pressed before, but I don't really know what it is. These glasses have no seam in them and I don't know if that makes them pressed glass. Is pressed glass something that is still being made? They do not have any pontil marks on the bottom, so they're not hand blown. I really don't know much about glassware, so any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here's a picture!

yeager,

Your glass was produced by Dunbar Glass Co. in the 1930's. If you have access to Hazel Weatherman's Colored Glassware of the Depression Era 2, a photo is shown on page 58. The sets included a pitcher & were produced in several colors as well as clear. I hope this is of some help.

Hi BonneD,

Thanks for the information on these glasses! Does this book give any pricing information or suggested value? Thanks again!
