So far this morning I've gotten 3 auctions listed. I'll list more today, this is just a start.

But, it took me more than 20 minutes to list the three, and that's just with one short paragraph descriptions on each, and that's after all the photos were cropped, cruched and uploaded to our web page. Naturally, I have my tos, gif code and such stored so all I have to do is cut and paste those, but I sometimes have to do minor alterations to the tos on each auction.

The time factor is what I'd like to reduce. The problem is though, that most items we list are unique and require a unique description. Sure, I could type the descriptions up in advance, but that would only allow me to submit the auctions in quicker intervals, and I can't see how that would save overall time.

Any ideas? Thanks

Use a generic template to minimize the thought it takes ...

Description: (brief whatzit statement)
Manufacturer:
Designer:
Date of Manufacture: (year, era, etc)
Size:
Shipping Weight:
Condition: (flaws)

And type it with the HTML codes in it, so you can just cut and paste into the description field and have the paragraphs intact.

There is no real way to cut down the time it take to write the unique descriptions.

20 mins for three isnt really bad if your profits on the three afteryour cost is $9 or more that is basically $27 for every hours work.

only way to cut down on this time is to be able to type faster with less errors that comes in time.

I'm not exactly a newbie, just looking for ways to make improvements. You wouldn't want an employee like me. I've told more employers to *shove it* than I can remember.
