I haven't been selling for several months because of all the extraneous charges I was incurring, etc. I tried to list an item today and it wasn't listed because an error message said I needed to enter payment terms and my credit card#, that this new policy went into effect March 17, 2001. I cannot access the link that explains this new policy so I'm wondering if anyone can explain why AW needs my CC#? Thanks.

I just had this same discussion with a friend. She found out that Auctionwatch is getting ready to start charging for photo image service. So they want everyone to register with a credit card.Another free service down the drain.

Um, Auctionwatch now charges a fee to list your auctions through them. So, they need your credit card to be able to bill you for listing your item through them. If they didn't get that, then they couldn't bill you.

Um? Ouch!!! Didn't know AW is now charging a fee if I list through them. Sooooo...does that mean I only have to pay fees to AW and not eBay or does that mean I need to pay fees to both? I think I already know the answer to that ??? Thanks for the input.
