If I remember right. A negative turns to a neutral if the person who left the negative becomes "unregistered".
Is that still true?
And if so.. how long after the person becomes "unregistered" does the neg turn neutral?

No longer true....what ever the feedback is, it is supposed to remain if a person unregisters for whatever reason.

that was back when eBay was a community ...
and speaking of the theme from Love Story --

There was a 6 week period that eBay converted ALL feedback to neutrals, both positive and negatives when the feedback giver was no longer registered.
If the user returned to eBay, the feedback was restored. This caused quite an uproar and ebay stopped converting.
I currently have several positive feedbacks that were changed to neutrals when the users had become NARU. The users have returned to eBay and are registerd with the same user name, but eBay refuses to return my positives.

It was longer than a 6 week period.
Back in the beginning of time (ebay time...hehehe) ALL feedback (positive or negative) was converted to a neutral when a user was NARU for what ever reason.
Then, I believe, it was sometime in 1999 ebay went to the new system. Feedback stayed the way it was regardless of the user's status.
I'm sure someone out there remembers when the change occured.
