on april 2nd a bidder wins auction and never pays after many emails (he also has lots of bad feedback for many reasons) so i file a non paying bidder alert. then he trys to pay with paypal with out even mailing me. i state clearly in my terms that i do not take paypal. i email him and tell him about it. he cancels it.....but again he never emails me. i wait and mail him again....no reply. i file for a listing refund.........today i get a check , return receipt, that i have to sign for. i have already filed for a listing refund yet now have his money. now what? i cant find anyplace on ebay to mail them and let them know he paid.

Here is the link I think you are looking for, it removes the NPB alert warning.

Personally, I would wait to see if the check clears. THEN you will have the money. At that point you can contact Ebay to remove the NPB. I hope it works out for you.

You are under no obligation to cash or return it or send this dimwit the merchandise (unless you cash it). Once I FVF credit someone, they are history in my book.

I probably would have refused the check, If I had recognized the return address.

thank you everbody. i did not recognize the return address and thought perhaps it was a check from one of my larger sales considering it had a return receipt. but nope it was this guy and get this.......the sale is for 9.99. all this extra thought and work dealing with a 9.99 deadbeat. the thing that spooks me with this guy is -why the return receipt? it did not help his payment come any faster (what he should have been concerned with) it just proves i received it. my gut tells me he is not done being a pain in the ...anyway thank you for your imput.
