Hi Very Modern,

I too had that problem, and I only got results when a thread was posted and stamps.com posted to it and I directly addressed the fella, ( sorry I forgot his name.....maybe joe???)He promised to stop the billing and credit my account, the billing did stop but I never got the promised refund.
I know lots of people love them but once they want to stop it is " Look out, you are screwed!".
I would not recomend them to any one!
I would suggest you keep this thread at the top until they respond!!!!!!!
They do moniter these.
One seller said he did a charge back as he used a credit card to pay, I used my checking account and was NEVER able to get a response from customer service!!!!!!!
Good luck

I've tried contacting them SEVERAL times since January and they WILL NOT answer me! I was billed 3x in January and 2x last month and a couple months ago, $50 "disappeared" from my Stamps.com account.

When I called their 1-800 # they refused to talk about my account and said it was for "Technical support" only. They told me I have to go to the Stamps.com website and email them from there. Well I've done that several times now and they just WILL NOT ANSWER ME!!!! Very frustrating.

They "USED" to have awesome customer service, and I guess the larger they got, the less they cared about their customers. I am trying to find another service comparable to them and then I am GONE from Stamps.com.

If anyone is able to contact them directly or has a Phone # that they will talk to you about your account, please post it here! Thanks!!

VeryModern,

I had this problem when I moved and closed my account back in December and they were still billing me in April. I was even promised by customer service in Jan that my account was closed.

I finally in April called their tech department. (There isn't anyway to talk to a "live" person in customer service.) I was very insistant on resolving my issue and after saying he was only the tech department he was able to give me the service request number from when I called in January and was promised my account was closed. He then advised to e-mail all my information to:

[email protected]

The next day after my e-mail to the above address my account was closed and credited.

Good Luck,
Rogerdodger

Hi,

I also had the same problem with Stamps.com.

I cancelled, got a email confirmation from them, but I was billed the next month anyway.

I then wrote them 3 emails, all of which went unanswered.

Being familar with their reputation from the boards here, I went directly to the Better Business Bereau and filed a complaint online.

I had a response in about a week saying my account would be cancelled, and I had my refund check in about two weeks.

I truly believe if I hadn't filed with the BBB, it still would be unresolved today.

Well, you do a chargeback with your credit card company like I did.

I had problems opening an account, their system said something like unable to verify info, please try again later.

Well, I didn't try again later. Sure enough, they billed me. I actually got an email response with stamps.com stating I did not open an account, so I WAS NOT BILLED?!?

I just called up the credit card company, they sent me the paperwork to do a chargeback and I just mailed the cc company the email stamps.com sent me.

EASY ENOUGH! HA!

Thanks everyone - I will try the email first, and do plan to charge back. I called my cc and their computer was down. Will also contact the BBB online - Arrrgh

AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!! Another stupid Stamps.com problem!!

I just accidentally printed a stamp for $12.95 (it was supposed to be $3.95). I just went online with Stamps.com to print out a refund request for misprinted postage and I can't get to that page!!!! I just keep getting the "please sign in" page and every time I attempt to sign in, it tells me my password is wrong - and it doesn't even ASK ME for my password!!!!!

Anyone else have this problem???

I HAVE ABOUT HAD IT WITH STAMPS.COM!!!!!!!!!!

ExecutiveGirl

I had the same problem with the sign on page.
There should be a link to take you to the misprinted postage form at Stamps.com's web site.

If you can't find it by this evening, I'll be glad to look for it & post it when I get to my other computer.
