Just a general question - how's business in been in the last month or two ? Reason I'm asking, I got some good items (to me anyway's) that got BIG hit numbers but no bids. It's reasonably priced and all in good shape. Is this the norm this time of year. It's weird. Everyone's looking......no one's buying.

same here.

must be just a phase. eBay tends to go that way... feast or famine.

good luck to you.

It can be voltile, that's for sure. Volatility means the buyers are being more selective but they are still ready to spend.

I've got an item at $130 with 3 days to go, started at $5. All profit over $5! Several items that reached the BIN which was set on the high average side. Largely it depends what you're selling in this market, but the buyers with money are out there if you've got the right goods.

I have been bookmarking many auctions with items I am interested in purchasing. These are mostly antiques and collectibles. They are ending much higher than what I expected them to and prices on most of them are higher than last year so some sellers should be very pleased.

I just assisted my husband in wrapping up his auctions until fall and prices were also higher than last year this time. The friend I am helping is also doing very well.

Varies: Last week : great This week: not so good!
I am sure that it is dependent upon what I sell~ I tend to jump around alot in the book market~ last week was fantasy ( always seems to go high) and romance. This week romance and bad bad bad. Would do better on amazon which is really bad news .
Good luck. I think that there is some nice bidding going on but I also saw some low bids on items that generally go much higher on some collectible children's books.

Business has really slowed down to a snails pace for me. Very, very typical for my general category this time of the year. Bums me out cause I got really spoiled in March and April, sales were RED HOT! Dont sweat it though, it will pick back up.

Most people this time of year are working in the yard, having cookouts and going to ballgames. Myself being one of those people! I really neglect listing this time of year. The forecast for my area is thunderstorms this weekend. Maybe I will get some listing done!

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Been real slow for me on E-Bay,at the Flea Market its the highest its ever been.I'm sure it will pick up on E-Bay.The items I'm running now would be much better for Christmas gifts,I've listed them at a bad time.

Pretty slow for general things but I had two bidders get in a bidding war for some items that a professional pastry chef would use and they ran the 5 pieces I got for a buck over $150 and I am hoping for a last minute fight also.
