For everyone who is looking for CUSTOMER SERVICE at Stamps.com I have FOUND a number that works and they will discuss your account with you!
The number is 1-888-434-0055
(I found this number on the back of the handbook that came with my free scale last year)
I asked why this number was not published anywhere so we could ask them our questions and he responded "because this is a new number that was not available until recently".. I told him that I found this number in the back of my handbook for the scale I got last year and he then changed the story to "well there are only a handful of us able to answer questions..."
So if you have a question about your account that is the number!!
They could not explain why I was billed 3x in January and 2x in March, why $50 was deducted from my account in March for NO REASON..... if anyone knows of a comparable program to Stamps.com please post it here.. I have had it with Stamps.com!
Thanks!

Considering Stamps.com just bought all the stuff from their competitor that was closing its doors, and also bought another company a few months before that, doesn't look like there are many alternatives other than good old fashioned meters from Pitney Bowes.

I have had a good experience with stamps.com lately. They offer the flexability in the size of labels and envelopes I can use, which is very important to me. The software is good and user friendly. They are extremely lacking in customer support. They layed off something like 75% of thier support staff recently with the dot.com crash which pretty much explains why.
I also use ClickStamp Online (by Pitney Bowes) as a backup and I love the fact that I can print Media Mail postage through them. The monthly fee is something like $1.59 per month - very reasonable. This is less than 10% of Stamps.com monthly rate. I have no idea how they could possibly make money with this rate structure. They are however very UNFLEXIBLE with the types of labels and envelopes you can use with the crappy and buggy software that they provide. This makes it unattractive to me for everyday use.
Both services need to integrate thier software to provide international postage and free online delivery confirmation like one of the other services now does. Is it simplypostage.com? Anyone tried this service yet?

Naturally email went unanswered and I did not want to wait for hours on hold, on a toll call, over $4.00 so I just gave up.
gamecock, endicia.com is the site that has the cool free integrated DC.
