I had a situation where I efunded the money for a buyer who had paid via pay pal.
I was unable to complete the sale becouse as I was packing the item to ship I realized a key piece was missing.
My question is there anyway to file for a refund of pay pal fees charged in a situation like this. ?
Pay pal took 3.01 on this sale

There isn't anyway.
I had a buyer send me paypal, I mailed item, they received it, and was happy.
A few weeks later, they sent me the money again! I emailed them and said you already have paid me! They replied, that they felt stupid, could I paypal them their money back. I did this, but had to eat the fees on it when it arrived it my account. I wrote to paypal and explained and they basically said TOO BAD, we do not refund fees.

Hi, You CAN get a refund from paypal for the fee's paid, they do not like to do it, but you can do it, and they will refund you your fees, send them a copy of the payment that was made by the buyer, and in the same email, send them a copy of the payment you sent back to the buyer, and explain why you did this. make sure that the 2 payments contain the same item number, and the same buyers name, email address and the same amount, and they should give you back your fee's. it will take awhile, but they will do it. good luck to you
