Reneging on a deal, posting a deceptive TOS and the like is no longer an ebay-only issue. I just ran into a B&M seller that did the same thing. There was a store with a sign that read "Everything $10." So I filled up a sack and tried to give the guy $10. He insisted it was $10 for each item. I pointed out that this was not what the sign said and if that was the case, he should have made it clear that it was a dutch sale and he was trying to do fee avoidance but he had me thrown out. How can I neg the store?

I think you blew it. If you REALLY believe that is what the sign meant, you should have backed a semi to his door, handed him ten bucks and told him to "Load 'er up"!
