Always good for a chuckle. These are very old. They were posted on AW a long time ago. The guy who wrote them participated in the message board for a while. Really really funny. Look and see. Andy rules!

You also have to look at who he left them to. Sometimes that is part of the joke.
The box you sent was open-proof. I had to use a BIG KNIFE and act MENACING. Bad!
He actually did a second set of these but ebay deleted them. I used to have a copy of them, there were almost 400! I will look for it some more and put it up on a free web page if I find it.

ROTFL! that was *really* funny! i was a little disappointed to see that someone already snagged the new user name i wanted: iloveandy46477
cheezr, *please* post them on a web page if you find them. i want more!
favorites, i think, were the ones to 'god' and 'satan.' ... i don't know though, tough choice!

when you look at it andy left 212 positives but has a rating of 19 so apparently the folks receiving the feedback didn't find them funny.
I didn't find them funny a little strange maybee.

aww, skip555, you didn't think they were funny? i thought they were a riot. i think he just typed what he hoped were user names, and thought up wild and wacky things to say, usually related to the name. he made them all positives, and usually found a way to say something good about the person - in however weird a way. just a harmless prankster
i loved it when the person he left it for got the joke. for one user (i forget the ebay name), he just said 'you are.' cracked me up when the person responded with, 'thanks - i wasn't sure'!

Some of those are very funny, but thanks to an old AW user I think I have you all beat.

kitty I found them to be mostly sophmoric...not my cup of tea. I did find it intersteing that he left something like 212 and only received 19 off course some of these may have been in the days when feedback did not have to be tranasctional related. So maybe he was just goofing on usernames as he came accross them

skip, admittedly some of them are juvenile and over the top (for me, anyway), but i think many are quite clever! i don't think any of his (apparently many, including harrybalsaksent - thanks, pointy!) incarnations were actual bidding/selling names, just 'i've got waaaaay too much time on my hands' names. all of the feedback appears to be left in july '99, which, as you guessed, was before feedback had to be transaction-related.
i sure as heck don't get his many mango/cat references, but whatever
kittyx3 - who clearly had waaaay too much time on her hands last night and today <g>
