I was hoping some folks knowledgeable in glass items to see what you think of my latest find. I bought this from an older woman who had it from new for many decades, and thought she had received it as a gift in the 50's or 60's.
Anyway, it is very heavy thick glass, and is in near mint condition, without any signs of even small chips. There is a tiny little bits of the paint of the daisy missing in spots (unnoticeable unless very close). The glass is clear, with the color printed on.
It is fairly large - about 10 inches high, and about 7 inches across.
I am trying to get an idea of its worth (if anything) - I have never dealt in glass before so I know I am out of my league here. I may also get an appraisal through e-praisal if you folks think there is some worth to this piece.
I've included some images below; any help anyone can give me with this is MOST welcome.

It looks to be 1970's flower power era. I don't think the value is very much--maybe only about $10 but I could be wrong.
Better list it fast before ebay bans the color orange.
Oh NO! I forgot about the upcoming rumoured ban on all things orange! I had better list it soon, eh!
The elderly woman I bought this from maintains it is from the 50's, but I have no written documentation, and there is no identifying marks of the maker, etc. on the glass. It does look rather 50ish to me, but *I* could be wrong.

Hi - These arelate 60's early 70's they also came in a turquoise with a green flower - don't know who made them - Mod , Hippie , Flower Power era is how I would go -- they aren't terribly valuable but yours looks particularly nice -- plus your pictures are great -- I think you will probably do nicely- BTW - I got one as a shower present - long gone now

Barb, It appears to be fired-on paint -- is the interior clear glass? If so, hold it up to the light and note where the light shines through -- the degree of scratching will affect the bidders' interest (severe scratching will decrease interest) and you should mention that kind of damage if it has any.
Good luck with it. (I have not been successful selling orange fired-on painted glass -- but if yours is in great condition and with the flower it may appeal to the "retro" collectors.)
Violetta
(Not known by this nickname anywhere but here.)
Those glass CJ's are fairly common, but if yours is as mint as it looks in the pics it might do ok with the Retro crowd? I wouldn't expect more than $15-25 [on a good week] for it. On a bad week, maybe $10.
They came in a wide assortment of colors & floral designs and were made in the 1960's and early 70's.
