Has anyone noticed as I just did that you cannot pull a users information anymore unless you have done business with them.
Reason why I need this is because a seller stiffed me over an item I paid for and I got the contact info.The user is no longer registered either.
However I think I have found the same seller selling the same items under a different user name.
However I cannot pull the contact info to verify this at all.
Oddly enough after I bought the item I got an email from another bidder who thought that this was the same seller who was selling items and defrauding people under a different name that was naru'd for such.
So at this time unless I bid on one of his items I cannot pull contact info.
I am almost tempted to bid pull the contact info and then cancel the bid.
Could you use the "ask the seller a question" process to ask them something (like where they are located & how much shipping would be) to see if you can put together any information on them?

Also be advised that unless the person is verified by ebay, you will not get the user informatio either. There is a form you can fax or mail to ebay though to request the information. Try the After the auction section on the Help page.
