I received a call from eBay about a week or 2 ago asking if I was interested in taking a classified ad out in their new advertising section of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. I know I didn't give her time to spell out the whole deal. I know that items in this area go for MUCH less than they do in other parts of the country. That's WHY i eBay my items!
Does anyone see any advantages to advertising locally other than for furniture and how would it be different than just taking an ad out? Here is a small article on the new venture by eBay. Anyone else receive any phone calls or have comments?

Sorry, I'm still having problems doing a live link.
