>I WILL PAY THIS AS SOON AS I CAN GET A MONEY ORDER IF YOU WOULD LIKE PAYPAL I
WILL DO IT REALLY QUICK BUT I DONT KNOW WHEN I WILL BE ABLE TO GO AND
PURCHASE A MONEY ORDER HOPEFULLY IN THE NEXT FIEW WEEKS.

It's getting to the point now, where some bidders desire/strive/endevor to set terms regardless of seller's TOS. Never in history[?] has the buying public been in such a position of power. And, until it becomes a seller's market, expect this attitude to grow and expand...

Well, to play the devil's advocate a little, it CAN be hard to get a money order depending on where you live and what you do. Not every C-STORE sells money orders and not everyone can get off work in time to get to a P.O. before it closes. Not many P.O.s are open on Saturday, either.
Of course, if your TOS said money orders only, he should have taken that into consideration before bidding.

Looks like he's trying to force you to take PP. I'd just email him that if MO is not received in XXXX days you will file NPB and then FVF with eBay and that may cause him some problems. I assume your ad is clear on payment options.
I know many will say you should just go ahead and let him use PP. Personally, I do not like pushy people. It has caused me to "cut my nose off to spite my face" more than once!
Good luck on this one, I have a feeling it is going to be a bummer all the way around!

In my second email to him (first email was EOA), I told him that if he needed to pay online, I would take bidpay, and gave him a link to their website. I always do this when someone asks about paypal, in case their wallet won't cover their bid, and they need to use a CC. (about 30% of the time, they do use bidpay)
It seems like I get one of these every couple of months, and I was overdue, so I'll deal with it, but.....

Very Clear.
morgantown:

Just like all the buyers reimbursing the sellers for their paypal fees?
He can get his $5 back easily, just talk SOMEONE else into signing up with paypal. (He sure tryed talking me into it. Of course, I had LOTS of people try to get me to sign up with paypal back when they where giving $$$ away like Holloween Candy.)

Tell him if he's got money in his PayPal account to spend, he can spend it at the energy flow site. They accept PayPal money already in PayPal accounts. He should have thought about how he was going to pay BEFORE the auction, not after. I get that all the time, people trying to get me to use PayPal which I can't because they won't mail me a check to a PO Box and my bank won't do direct deposits from them. I am getting more and more buyers every time I run auctions trying to talk me into some new payment option. Then when you don't go along with them, it takes a month to get paid (are they punishing us?). I would stick to the terms of my auction and if he didn't read it before he bid, tough!

You can simply end it nice and easy or file NPB, FVF, & NEG. And most likely get one yourself. I don't like to be bullied by bidders but you have to choose your battles carefully.
If it is a small ticket item I would just take Paypal and use money to pay for another purchase.
Obviously this buyer is playing accept Paypal or I won't pay.
