... that make me just want to quit as an eBay seller.
He buys a $5 CD from me on April 7. He replies to my EOA notice that "I'll send a money order."
Three weeks go by and no money order. I email him to say "No money order received, when did you send payment?"
No reply.
I send it again in a few days.
No reply.
I file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert on May 5. He finally writes back to me that "money order was sent on may 3."
I write back: "Thanks for letting me know, I will email you when it arrives."
May 15, still no money order. I write to him: "I still haven't received the money order. Do you still want this CD? Let me know one way or the other so I can either save the CD for you or re-list it on eBay."
His reply today: "Re-list your f***ing CD. My money order went to the wrong address. I just got it back."
I write back: "I wish you had let me know that the payment was sent to the wrong address. I would still hold the CD for you if you want it. All I ask is that my bidders communicate with me so that I'm not sitting here clueless as to what they are doing/thinking."
His reply: "Are you gay because you sound like a fag."

I wouldn't have written back to him after his second-to last message. But the timing is good -- ten days have passed and you can file for FVF, neg the jerk and move on.
It's unlikely he ever mailed a money order. Forget about him after getting your fees back and leaving an appropriate neg (I'd be sure to mention the profanity). He's not worth any further attention.

...I'd also send a copy of the emails to [email protected] because of the abusive tone, and block him from bidding on any other of your auctions!

sheesh, he's a wacko. first road rage, now internet rage. forwarding it to safeharbor isn't a bad idea. can't hurt, might help.

Not only bidder block him & forward this to SafeHarbor but forward his emails to his ISP w/full headers. Just send it to abuse@whateverhisispname.

Yes, what eventer said... and by all means don't respond to his messages. I'm guessing he's barely old enough to be legal on eBay, if even.
