I'm just wondering what your predictions for the future of eBay are...
* * *
I predict someday soon we will see eBay come up with a way for large companies to remove negative feedback or not even have to receive feedback. eBay will announce this as good news and come up with some corporate name - "Customer Correspondence."
Wait I can just hear it now - You'll still be able to write feedback as always, but now your feedback will go directly to the company!"

That first one is pretty likely, They already have a model for this as on their half.com site, where, when a seller cancels a sale the jilted buyer is encouraged to leave a complaint; If the seller is a bookstore (as opposed to a private seller) these complaints are removed as standard operating proceedure.

The success of online auctions will have all items, collectibles and practicals become commodities, eliminating the thrill of the hunt. The government will subsidize ebay sellers to keep the public spending their money on needless "junk" to keep Americans working 60 hour workweeks and off the streets committing crime.
