Thanks you two. Must be traffic then. I'm in northcentral Arkansas and was having trouble with access last night (very slow), but can't get on at all today.

I appreciate your posts.

I can get into eBay but I have been having intermittent problems with no images showing up on my auctions and others since last night. I know the images are there and my server isn't down. Looks as if the eBay Zeus isn't working again. This has happened before when eBay is mucking around with stuff to roll out one of it's "improvements" or added features.

Ebay down and out for the count in my area (Boston) too. Not surprising, I expect it to be non-functioning at least 10% of the time. Despite their propaganda I believe it is held together with electrical tape and band aids. Very unreliable technically, but still the only game in town.

Could it be your ISP?

Since some of us are on and some cant get onto eBay, perhaps its our systems ? I'm on web-tv and completely blocked all morning. Others ? And, no, I'm not running to Bidville ? Whatever FOR ? I make my living on eBay, not an occasional dabble on 'free' sites with few bidders.

I can access ebay from my Gateway computer, but not from Webtv. Anyone else have that problem or know what to do about it?
It's 11:40 Eastern here and I've tried to get on ebay since 8 this morning.

Well....this is frustrating. I had items I wanted to bid on this morning but guess that's not going t to happen. At least it's not down to everyone....that's good.

I still can't access (10:40 AM CDT) ebay on either our webtv nor through our ISP, I tried both. I am able to access other auction sites though. Just tried four and they came up very quickly, including Yahoo.

Hi Eventer Do you think my ISP could be having a problem just accessing the ebay site? I called a friend who lives approx. 12 miles away, but he can't access ebay either and he uses a different ISP than we do.

Thanks to all who responded, I appreciate it.

I hate to say this folks, but I'm in Ohio,
on a dial-up modem, and I'm having NO PROBLEMS
at all with eBay today ...

in fact I'm breezing around just fine --
I guess because all of you can't get in ?!?
Sorry for your trouble, but I like eBay this way ...
Could you please stay home tomorrow too?

It sounds to me like there's a major router down somewhere?

It could be that exodus is choking, again?

I also have webtv and I am from Georgia and I have been trying to get on for over 5 hours to see how my auctions are doing.I can get on other websites.
This is frustrating, especially since I just FINALLY found a way to get my auctions on again!

Seems like it's down. Haven't had a bid in 2 days. Must be the middle of auction slump. eBay working great in N.E. Pa.

Could someone who is getting on to eBay contact them at the announcement board. I think that is usually faster. I just hope they know there is a problem. Is there any info on the announcement board?? Thanks.

Hello folks. Just wanted you to know that when we get problems with eBay.co.uk we use eBay.com or eBay.com.au I guess it will work in reverse!
