Amazing! I just got spam from an ebay seller promoting their auction [hey, how did they get my email address, anyway???] and attached to the bottom was a warning from ebay that spam is not allowed and not to take it!

I guess ebay isn't reading spam sent through their email system?

All the spammer had to do was click on your seller name to get eBay's pop-up e-mail form. Was it for jewelry auctions by any chance? I just got a spam like that thru eBay's system too.

eBay does NOT read the e-mails going through their system. They are complaint-driven for the most part -- you have to report the offending e-mail if you want them to take any action.
