I am just irritated. I had a customer who bid on something, paid paypal. I shipped. They left me a bad feedback saying they never recieved it (without contacting me first or I would have replaced it). They also did a paypal chargeback. It was a tiny amount (about $3). Paypal pulled it out of my account. I can live with that. I blocked the bidder from any of my future auctions.
Then they got a new account and bought item #2. Also tiny sale. Again claiming they haven't recieved and I did mail it. It has only been a week though so I asked them to give the post office a little more time. They are threatening paypal chargeback. I have blocked them from bidding under this "new" alias, but is there anything else I can do? They have also been NARU under one account. I wrote to ebay and they didn't do anything. Oh and their new account has 11 feedback and already 2 negatives. I smell a rat don't you?
This person does NOT seem to realize that I know they are the same person who did this before. They are using the same paypal account. Ugh!
Does paypal watch how many times someone files chargebacks? These folks seem to be doing it often.

Pull their contact information NOW for BOTH accounts. Looks like you are going to need to put together a case regarding this losers.

You may have to resort to putting delivery confirmation requiring a signature (that's available at my p.o. now, don't know about others) on packages you suspect are going to this person.

El--
That is one option but I think I would prefer to just never sell to them. That is why I had blocked the first ID. Then they went and created a new ebay id and bid again on another item.
This was something mailed in a #10 envelope for .34 and the post office won't let me use delivery confirmation on them. I tried when I realized that this was the same person I had dealt with before.
Good to know about the signature though-- I will file that away in my memory for future reference. :0)
Thanks!

Rather than putting it in a #10 envelope, consider using a small bubble mailer (they are pretty inexpensive). The you CAN put delivery confirmation requiring a signature on them.

Thanks everybody! :0)

I am PROUD to say I DO NOT accept any online payment service AND do JUST FINE!
Sorry about your BS chargeback, but YOU are putting your customers in full control of your transactions by offering this option. I know a lot of sellers who are backing away from these payment services for EXACTLY this reason. Some things are best handled in the traditional manner---yes, that's right folks, SNAIL MAIL! I have NO TROUBLE competing with competitors using pay services, NONE AT ALL!

Yes, tea4u, as you stated yesterday, your three weeks of experience and feedback rating of two make you an expert in this field.
Glad to hear that you "do just fine"

If you find both accounts have the same contact information, accumulate all correspondance and forward it to Safeharbor and let them know about the problem.
I recommend that you send an immediate email notice to the new account indicating that you again demand that the buyer refrain from bidding in any of your future or current auctions. CC Safeharbor in your note.
The above will build your case and may lead to suspension by the perpatrator.
As for the lost packages, your buyer is F.O.S!

I am glad to tell you that this problem person was NARU'ed!
They went from 2 negatives (out of 11 total feedback) to 6 in a very short period of time and ebay gave them the boot!
.... doing a happy dance!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You might want to contact the other sellers that this person has been defrauding. Sure, send a notice to eBay, but if you get a couple dozen people to call the local law enforcement you may be able to get the police to give this person a visit.
