Hmmm, looks as if ebaY is cooking the books. Auction listings numbers are the same as they were on 25 May, and since folks haven't been able to list too well for the last three days, they SHOULD have dropped. Even if you give ebaY the benefit of the doubt and say only 25% of sellers could not list, the numbers should have decreased by about 600,000 auctions. It is suspicious in the extreme that they have remained the SAME. We guesstimate they have actually dropped by approx 1 mil or more. This would not have been the first time they "froze" the numbers they showed to the public.

I don't know what method MedVed uses to do ebaY counts, but ebaY HAS been know to block MedVeds access to the site, which can influence MedVeds automated counts.
250,000 just is not high enough if logic is applied to the extensive list problems. -Rosalinda

I wont disagree that ebay may at times hold there listing number in place from time to time to have it appear during times of server problems and outages that there listing are still the same.
But What I am curious about is what problem people have been haveing listing since I have not had any trouble getting item list on ebay in the past weeks at all.
I have notice a seasonal drop in bidding and have cut the amount of item I have listed daily but no problem listing to ebay I have a had a few problems with Auction management sites not working or down due to updateing and so on but not with listing to ebays site its self when the management tools are working.
