This is onna them 'just for fun' posts.
I don't know about you but out of idleness I often look at what my current high bidders have won in the past via the feedback page. I noticed something weird about two of my bidders this week. Both of them buy exclusively in two categories and the categories are about as different as different can be.... The first appears to be a man and his areas of interest are 1) vintage fly fishing equipment and 2) vintage girdles and bras. The second appears to be a woman and her interests appear to be 1) new-with-tags leotards and bodysuits and 2) antique German postage stamps.
I looked at one of my closed auctions and sure enough I noticed a pattern there too: this buyers buys only tobacco related items and ashtrays AND quilting supplies (books, fabric, etc.)
My own buys have been all over the board, but I'm wondering if anyone else has any dual-interest buyers out there worth mentioning.

Hi Kim; Funny you should bring this up, I found myself doing the same thing with my morning coffee. My buyer elegant glassware, along with car parts. Me I buy in all assorted categories. however, I sell much more than what I buy.

My husband and I share one account. (I also have two others.) On the shared account most purchases are for costume jewelry (for me) and clocks and scooter parts (for him). I use one of my own accounts for my more bizarre purchases since I sell on the shared account and want its history to remain tame.

I now always use a seperate account for purchases Keeps my bidders from thinking I'm a weirdo. I did this early on after buying some adult items for my Brother in Law's Bachelor party and had 5 items in a row in feedback
Hidden - Requires Adult Verification
My purchases run from vintage jewelry to men's clothing and action figure toys all for different people.
Forget about Christmas time then my purchases are all over the board.

I have one that I buy stuff I collect on because I have been warned people are watching what I bid on so they can bid, too. Seems I find all the really neat stuff .....
And, as I have said before, MrsSantaClaus has to be careful what she buys ~ I wouldn't want someone little to see something they shouldn't
