Ok, I'm wondering if this is happening to anyone else.
I have had a couple of international bidders who wanted to pay by Billpoint within the past couple of days. I sent them a Billpoint invoice. They email me telling me they just received the invoice and paid it.
But in my emails, I only get an "invoice request" from Billpoint saying the buyers are requesting I send them a Billpoint invoice.
The invoices are already set up and ready to go - and my buyers state they have PAID the invoice. But instead of getting an email stating the invoice is paid, I get an email stating the buyer wants a billpoint invoice sent to them.
I go to my Billpoint account, and the invoices show as UNPAID. But my buyers state they have paid the invoices.
These are 2 different buyers, both from Canada. Is this a weird glitch or what? Anyone else notice this??

I have done 5 international Billpoint sales in the past 4 days (New Zealand Australia Japan Germany & Thailand) All came through fine.
Are you sure your bidders didn't stop at the confirmation page?
That is what happens most of the time when the bidder thinks they paid but it is not recorded.
Just ask the bidder for the "Order Ref ID" if they can't find one the sale was incomplete if they have one search using the order reference search on sales page.
Hope this helps

This is not a billpoint glitch but rather a buyer glitch they are going to the closed auction and instead of clicking pay by bill point they are useing the send a billpoint invoice.
notify them to click the link in the invoice you sent them.

Thanks for the responses, but my buyers ARE trying to pay from the invoice I sent them. As a matter of fact, I just emailed them and told them to try paying by going to the "pay now" button from the auction to see if that helps. My one buyer emailed me that the billpoint payment page keeps telling her she needs a valid US zip code so that's why her invoice won't go through. She is in Canada. I receive international Billpoint payments every week and this is the first time I've seen this problem.

Well, it was a billpoint glitch.
One of my customers wrote to Billpoint and they responded with this:
Hello xxxxxxxx,
We apologize for the difficulty you experienced while attempting to pay for your item and receiving a message stating that a province or state name is required. The system is incorrectly asking you for a province or state. Our engineers are currently investigating the situation and will provide a fix for this shortly.
In the meantime, since the system will not allow you to complete the transaction without a province or state, you will be able to complete the invoice by placing your country name in the state/province field. This will provide the least confusion in your shipping address that your seller will see. You can also place "none" or "xx" in the field however this may cause some unwanted confusion. Using your country name is the best alternative at this time.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we resolve this matter. Hopefully we can now get your transaction completed.
Once again, we apologize for the confusion and appreciate your patience.
Regards,

I just had that happen a few minutes ago too. I just got an error message when trying to send an invoice - but when I went to the auction and clicked on the Billpoint info, it shows the invoice was sent!

I had 2 customers tell me that Billpoint is not excepting the eBay auction numbers. They won those auctions, but could not pay through Billpoint without an invoice sent from me. Anyone else??

Problems here on Monday. Tried to log in and Billpoint won't except my password. Changed the password, got in, tried to send invoice and again they said my password was invalid after I had already logged in.
I use Windows NT which saves my passwords so I know I had the correct password as it is inserted by my computer program.
This is the first problem I have had with them.
