Just thought these were interesting numbers:
6-4-01
# of Ebay Auctions containing the phrase \"Visit Our Website\"
72,911
# of Ebay Auctions containing the phrase \"Visit My Website\"
15,088
There has been little change in these numbers since the new no link policy.

Hey, I've got an idea...didn't eBay say they were going to rely on their users to become "link cops", so how about reporting all 87,998 of them to eBay, that should keep the slaves down in the galley busy rowing away on their keyboards!

Try putting this;
visit (website, site)
in ebay's search box and check the "Search titles and descriptions (to find more items!)" box and see how many you get.

...and at any one time there is always several thousand auctions stating what they are and then what they are not!
TROY MICR 2100T Secure Laser Printer - NOT HP
Georgia State Flag (not Jesse Jackson flag)
Eclipse 33240 car amplifier NIB, not alpine
BUGLE BOY JEANS 30 NEW w/tags (not Levi)
Prime examples of clear violations of ebays listing TOS.
Where are those volunteer police when ya need them????

I received a very polite reminder about linking to my web page (which I have now removed)I was informed they will be sending "educational" notices regarding the new link policy to sellers until June 15th just to make sure everyone understands the new policy and has had ample time to comply.
