ordered the wrong item? Again half.com operates VERY differently from ebays. I had a video, I put it in it's proper sell page, using the UPC code. The image and the description matched EXACTLY as the half.com page showed it as. It was a live action film based on a popular story. I get a order confirmation, I send the item out.
Then I get a email from her, thru half.com, saying I sent the wrong item out! She is demanding a replacement or a refund. She claimed she bought the Disney version! And that I was at fault for sending the wrong one! I double checked the item page and no, the UPC matched the item, the description on half.com page state this is another studio's version. They have a page for the Disney version.
I dont feel this is my fault at all. She obviously ordered the wrong item! Probelm with half.com, is IF they feel she is correct, she will then send the item back, and reduce the shipping fee of mailing back the item from my CC! But all I did was sell what was on the inventory page, I didnt put this video in the Disney version page of the same titled movie.
Does anybody know enough about half.com to know what their policy is regarding if a customer orders the wrong item? Again, it wasnt my fault. But with half.com, they have a screwy policy. Any advise would be appreciated.

half.com is slapped together in a big hurry -one has to be careful when buying on half.com,eg no picture and poor/insufficent description of books.
it does the customer no good with the wrong merchandise, let her return it and have half.com compemsates all the expenses if you can prove it is not your fault.

hwahwahwahwa, I wouldnt say she recieved the wrong merchandise, I would say she didnt read what she bought, so she ordered the wrong item. Still the image was there, and it certianly wasnt the image of the item she wanted. half.com sure takes forever to respond. I am stil waiting!

half.com will side with the buyer no matter what to prevent chargebacks. Only way for them to not be able to do a charge to your credit card is to delete your cc info pronto.
I had 2 bad experiences like this on half.com. I refuse to sell there again.
