I just sold an item and the buyer emailed me and said they had found the item somewhere else and would pay me back the Ebay fees if I wanted to relist the item, or they would buy the item anyway. What would you do, this is a first for me!

I've never come across this myself, but have heard of it. Did the buyer say they would not buy, or they would rather not buy. Guess for me it depends on how they put it. Might be worth getting your fees back and putting back up for auction than to try to extract payment and deal with a potentially ugly situation. Life is too short in my opinion, I would probably take the money and relist (But I do have a generous return policy, and would rather have the money upfront than refund later)
