I listed an auction for a widget, I said the widget has a "slight" stain - well the purchaser that it was a good bit more than slight, so I refunded part of his money.
I filed a Partial Credit FVF with eBay and received on my account two transactions. One was a refund of the full FVF, and then one immediately after it was for the "corrected" value. Myself and the high biider was sent the following:
Congratulations on your recent winning bid for XXXX. Your seller, XXXX, has contacted eBay. We've been told that you have decided not to purchase this item.
If this is correct, do nothing and enjoy your time on eBay. However, if this is not correct (you have purchased or intended to purchase this item), please tell us by writing to [email protected] and include "Not Correct" in the subject line of your email.
Thanks for your assistance.

This is not what I choose, and this is NOT what I was credited for. So Why!?? I've sent an email to the high bidder explaining the situation, but now I am afraid of the reprussions of eBays mistake if this bidder decides to respond to the incorrect letter!
