Think I'll give it a try, nothing to lose and with any currency converted, no problem to change over to Canadian Dollars.

I think that AuctionTamer is the only one with a Canadian posting template. With AuctionTamer you can even post it to the Canadian site in US Dollars.
Also the nice thing about AuctionTamer is that you can easily switch the auction item between eBay US, CA, UK, AU and Amazon US and BidVille.
You can list on eBay.ca in us funds from here
http://pages.ca.ebay.com/sell/index-usd.html
but it does NOT qualify for the free listing promotion.
I personnally don't like listing in CA funds because the bid currency is not converted in the main ebay search pages (US site). It's only shown in the actual listing. IMHO it appears many bidders think CA $100 is more expensive than US $80 and bid on these auctions instead. You and I know this, but most don't always realise that CA $100 was actually less and pass on these auctions in favor of the US funds auctions. It is possible to find bargains in CA funds for this very reason.
