For those of you who have fallen under the magical spell of Ichiro Suzuki as he powers my favoriate ball team to the post-season, beware! There are several sellers on eBay who are touting the 2000 Ovation, Japanese version, as his Rookie Card. Not!!!
2000 was the last year he played in Japan. His rookie year in Japan was 1993, his rookie year here, of course, is 2001. People are falling for this scam because the Ovation 2001 RC was the first to make a big splash. Just want to let my AW buddies know in case they're getting Ichi Fever.
