Hi,
You posted the other day about finding Windows 1.0 software.. Would a book Learning to use Windows Applications Paradox for 1.0 Windows also be of some value? It is by The Shelly Cashman series and has a student learnig Diskette still sealed in an envelope on the inside back cover. Thanks for any help.

I've noticed that anything related to old software does well. I recently sold some Commodore 64 programers guides for a nice little profit.
There are some windows 1.0 books up for bid now that seem to be selling as well.

Hi,
Thanks for the info. I couldn't find any listed when I did a search. What words did you use for the search? Thanks!

Just do a search on windows 1.0 and also look at closed auctions.
Funny, I'm looking at one now that has manual and disks. The auction states rare. Just a few years ago while I was in the military we through out about 100 of these things new and still in the box. Wish I would have kept them.

The 2 copies of windows 1.0x I've found brought me $150 each.
Most copies you see on ebay are 1.03 or 1.04 (I've had one of each) and are the bug fixed copys of a truly bug ridden program. A true copy of 1.00 probably would be rare and would crash more often than eBay .
DOS 1.x is even better. IBM PC's with either of the first two bios dates are good (if they have the correct serial number and motherboards)
