I always send my payment, usually the very next day of winning, (if I hear from the buyer that fast). I always use a postal money order, because it seems the buyer prefers them and I have always been led to believe-- in their TOS-- that I would receive "next day shipping" upon receipt of the money order. It seems, on average, my money order arrives, to the seller, 3-4 days later, no matter where in the country.

I then wait 2-3 weeks for my Priority package to arrive.

Why do they say they'll ship immediately with a money order and than they don't?

the buyer prefers money orders??

Much of my buyers like the fact that I accept checks.

He might not have received your money order until late.

Whoops sorry... I meant the SELLERS state that they prefer money orders, rather than checks in their TOS.

Received it 2 weeks "late"? I get email from the seller that say they just received my money order and that was 3-4 days from the time I sent it. Then I receive the priority package 2-3 weeks later!

Do SELLERS really mail out money-order-paid-things "the next day" as stated? That's not my experience. I think if I am to abide by a TOS-- the seller should, too.

I usually ship the next business day after receiving a money order, sometimes it may be two days depending on my day-job schedule. But never 2-3 weeks! That is just not right.

same here, next day or day after on money order.

check the package postmark - i've had packages take weeks to arrive by priority mail, but not very often.

I ship next day regardless of payment type.

Hi,
I normally ship the next business day with money orders and cashier's checks. I know that many banks are starting to put holds on the funds from money orders due to so many counterfiet ones being passed.

Maybe some of your sellers are encountering this with their banks.

I feel for you. One of my least favorite transactions this year was a pretty expensive item, $700. Seller's description stated PayPal preferred. If PayPal payment is received before 4pm (Pacific), item ships same day.

The auction closed (10am) and I immediately PayPal'ed a payment to the seller and send an email informing him of it. I wait around all day for an email... and wait. Nothing. The next day I send another email. By 3pm pacific, nothing. I call the seller and get voice mail. This day comes and goes.

The next day comes. Around 1pm Pacific I get an end of auction email about how to pay. I immediately respond that I've already paid two days before and want to know what happened to the <4pm same day shipping stated in his auction. No response.

The next morning I get an email acknowledging the payment. Woohoo! And a statement that he'll get the item right out. Reminder: This is day 4. Nothing heard the rest of the day.

Day 5: I get an email with a tracking number which shows it was sent on Day 5.

I guess to this seller "same day shipping" means they ship the item the same day they take it to UPS. What a jerk.

The seller never did acknowledge or answer the question about the <4pm same day shipping question.

I ALWAYS ship within three days (including weekends) upon receipt of the payment, regardless of how payment is made. Nothing worse than waiting for ever for a package to come.....and I think I would have left that seller a neutral, stating why you werent so happy.

How about emailing the Seller to let them know you were unhappy about their service and give them the opportunity to do something about it before you post Neutral Feedback? You may be suprised... some sellers might give you your shipping back if you were unhappy with the service... I would do that myself if I could a.) make my customer more willing to give me another chance an buy from me again and b.) possibly avoid negative or neutral feedback... It really ticks me off when buyer's use feedback to demonstrate their unhappiness when they haven't given me the opportunity to make it right... those bidders go right to my blocked bidder list... Just my .02 cents ~ Jon
