Several weeks ago, we got the opportunity to purchase a SHED full of "stuff" at the local swap meet. We have doubled our money, selling at the swap meet for the past month. I am tired of it. Wonder....if I bag up "stuff" (mainly small toy items) in lots, say of 10 or 20 Do ya think I could do much on EBAY? How would I attract bidders? "YARDSALE CLEARANCE" or "TOY CLEARANCE" ??? Any one have any ideas?

describe the contents well. A lot of people search by description as well as title.

The USPS sells on Ebay odd things in big lots like you describe. They managed to make it work for them. Maybe you can do it too. Take a look at their auctions if someone can provide the link. I can never remember their userids. Of course, some of their methods leave much to be desired. You may not want to follow their lead too closely. But then, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' may apply here as well. I don't know really. Whatever you do, good luck.

If you list it as "Big box of toys" you won't do very well. So break it down into groups, such as "lot of 20 McDonald's toys." The more specific when describing these items, or showing a pic, the better the bidding will be.

I agree with rewassago. A good description helps for more than just added keywords. On more than one occasion I have not bid on a "lot" type auction because the description was too vague (usually regarding the condition of the items).
