I have been looking for a certain widget for weeks on eBay. Everyone I have found has been going for $30-40 plus outrageous shipping. I finally found one a week ago for $.99. The auction had just gone up, I didnt actually think that I would win it. This Friday I got a WBN for my long sought after widget, this is why I love eBay! The seller had it listed in a such a weird way I am guessing no one could find it since the widgets that are listed the right way are still going for $30-40. He could have made a lot more money off of it if he would have listed it by the title. This is not a newbie seller, he has a rating of a couple hundred.

Don'cha just luv 'em!
I recently won a part I needed for an old lamp. I paid half or less of what it normally goes for on ebay because the seller didn't know what to call it.

I recently ran across something that I'm certain would have gone for much more than the SMALL amt I paid for it had the seller spelled the mfr name correctly...

I got my widget today and I think the seller is having remorse. In the email to confirm payment had been rc'd they went on and on about how they hated to let it go at that price and how awful they felt that it didnt get more bids. They also included a note to that affect in the box.

If they sent it, they did the honorable thing. I wouldn't be bothered to much, seeings how you said:
