Noticed it has gotten alot better for me the past couple weeks (same items up for sale). Is this an anomoly as I've heard buyers become extinct during the summer months?

My sales have been really stong since Memorial Day weekend, definitely better than last June, I've been selling for 2 1/2 years, and was expecting it to be a lot slower by now. I'm also getting some very nice closing bids on items.

James,
Nice! Good luck on your auctions and lets hope its a great summer. Wonder if it's just limited to certain categories?

I'm also getting the prices I want for the items I sell. A lot of folks using the Buy It Now option. Fixed Price auctions and marketplaces seem to lack the sex appeal of normal auctions, but they sure do seem to work! Guess people are into that instant gratification thing.

I think it depends on catagory Because right now it seems to be going one good week one slow week for me.

The the Number of Items sold on a good week seems to be up pretty good and I tried some bin auctions over the holiday thinking people would be online but not as much they went good.

Having good sales if Ebay can keep operating! Last night was terrible! Site was up and down, sections unavailable, people could't search, people couldn't bid. Almost half of my items ended with no bids which hardly ever happens to me.

Going very well here. I've learned from experience to avoid having anything close Sunday night! Sales were strong all weekend.

Sales were going gangbusters since Memorial Day, then have slowed incredibly over this last weekend. It's been raining here during the same time period (and finally let up over the weekend), so maybe folks are out doing things instead of browsing eBay.

When is the best time to have auctions end for you? What what do you sell?

I wonder if the cold weather had anything to do with it....

If so, I am screwed, because it is 95 degrees here right now!
