I am going to be listing an item that has a faint overprint of insects all over the front of it...they are done in a very pale green on a gold background.
I think the term I am looking for is something like Bandez, Bende (it may be french) Can anyone help me? Much appreciated.

Ok, guess I am going to have to use "faint overprint" I was hoping someone was familiar with the term.

Faint Overprint sounds better, as most would not know what the other word means anyway.

I have worked in printing steadily and thoroughly for over 15 years, and I am not sure of the term you are looking for either. Out of curiosity, however, I am going to refer to my several trusted handbooks on the morrow and see if I can find out what you might call that. I need a good project.
