My father and I are sellers in the same town and NO we never shill bid. Before I start this story I will tell you user names have been changed to protect the guilty. We just discovered another seller who deals in higher priced collectibles in town has another user name. After looking up the bid history we found out Stupid bid on Loser's stuff 12 times. And Loser bid on Stupid's stuff 17 times. And the funny thing is about the only stuff they bid on is each others.
You'd think with all of the high tech equipment nowadays ebay would have discovered what they're doing or do they even care? After all, it makes them more money!

They are definitely stupid losers. Report 'em to Safe Harbor right away. They deserve to get kicked off!

If you can prove they're shilling, ebay will kick them both off. However, they could re-register and do it again.

My goodness. I hope they enjoy paying the final value fee.

Oh, my goodness, that sure is a lot more interesting than shill bidding. Thanks for the laugh!

U.K. - I wonder what the point is on that tomato auction? Shock value? Now, THAT will be a high FVF!

"Yep. Ebay will give 'em a warning not to do it again!"

This reminds me of a provincial police force here in Canada who are not armed chasing criminals:

"Stop, or I'll yell stop again!"

Here lately Ebay is too busy trying to run off sellers and bidders with their rediculous rules and extra fee's. My hit counters on Ebay say that Ebay is headed for rough time, as are we.

The lot has now been pulled. It was great fun whilst it lasted.

Could someone please tell me what it was? It was yanked before I had a chance to look at it!

A can of tomatoes for over 13,000,000.00 with vulgar user names shill bidding.

The description was inventive though.

This was a peeled can of tomatoes from the leading UK supermarket. It reached £9,999,999 or $1,400,000 before being pulled by eBay.
