I Hope that someone has some ideas for me. Here's my story, I was a buyer on ebay, I was changing my personal email address, which happened to be my user name. So I was able to change my user name with my same password and all of my purchase history, 50+.
My email address didn't get changed to my new address, so when I bought an item, none of ebay's or the sellers messages could come through. So I was contacting my sellers....In the meantime, since my new email address didn't get changed, I opened a new account with ebay with a new user name and my new email address. I forgot!!! my new user name and now when I try to make a new account, I get the message that my new email address is in use. It is, with the user name that I can't remember!!! Now, a buyer has given me 3 negative feedbacks for 3 items that I bought which I haven't an idea, now, what they were. So now I am blocked from bidding, contacting that seller, or trying to do anything with ebay. What in the world do I do now?? I want to clear those negatives, somehow!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!

You can't clear the neg's, but something doesn't seem right here.....

How did you know you got 3 neg's if you couldn't remember what the username is?

And why didn't you enter your email address as your user name? It will bring up your account just as if you entered the username you "forgot"

A single buyer can't get you de-registered for 3 negatives.

Better write to Ebay and find out why you were suspended.

rewassago,
The 3 neg. were under my user name that I have done all of my current business. Apparently, I won 3 auctions from 1 seller and he gave me a neg from each auction....
I didn't want to use my user name the same as my email address because with my earlier user/email name being the same, I had been contacted too many times by viewers wanting to sell me something similar.
ecom,
How do I contact ebay?? That's what I would like to know. I've tried every avenue that I can find within ebay. This mess seems to need a tele # and a live person to talk this out with.

That wasn't what I meant....

If you cannot remember your user name, just enter your email address into the box that asks for your user name, enter your password, and it will bring it up just as if you did enter your user name.

I'm not sure if I understand what you are trying to say...

You should be able to access your account by searching under your email address that you have set up on the account. If the email address on the account was the same as your user name and it didn't get changed, you could just search under your old email address and it would tell you what the new user name is. Then you can access the account, unless you forgot your password.

If you have been unregistered, you might want to email ebay and explain (clearly) the circumstances. In other words, you are thoroughly confused, and ask for help.

If you want a quick answer, usually within 24 hours you could try this address:

[email protected]

I'm sure that when they hear your story they will reinstate your account.
