i wonder what is the sell thru rate on ebay and also in the category of civil war items...Also what percent of peoples sells come from check-money order-online payment service?? Also can one use pay direct on ebay?? Hope to hear some from some experienced sellers here...thanks...Patrick

The average sell through rate on Ebay is irrelevant. There's too many varaibles.

Sales vary greatly from one category to the next.

All sellers are not equal! I think the sell through rate of the average seller is pretty poor. 10% of the sellers on Ebay sell 90% of the items.

Our sales are about 80% (first run) and about 2/3 of our payments are through Billpoint. If you offer a quick pay method people will use it. If not you may lose SOME sales.

I don't know anything about civil war items, but To find out what is selling in a category just look at the completed items. That should tell you what you want to know.
