Hello all..again! Today has not been a very good day for me! I have a Sony Mavica 83..great camera, I love it. But...when I upload my photos to the internet, either thru AW, my FTP space or even thru Ebay, (especially thru Ebay), the photos turn fuzzy or blurry. The pics are fine when I view them on my computer or thru the preview on the camera. I crop and resample the photos so they will load faster on my listings...what am I doing wrong? Is it the size? The lighting? It doesn't happen all the time, just most of the time. Any digital photo experts out there? Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you on AO-SMELL?? If yes, then ya have to change the compression settings or all your pics will be blurry when you upload!
Check out this link for more info on fuzzy pics with AO-HELL:

I use the Sony Mavica 73 and upload to AOL and my photos come out great. All the photos I see that are uploaded to eBay are fuzzy at best. When I used AW I never had a problem either.

EBay's IPIX image quality is terrible! I'd tell you the name of a great image host that will give you very sharp images but my post would get zapped...

Thanks for the replys!
jrb3-I thought resampling and resizing were the same thing? I use the Arc Soft software that came with my Mavica..and I do save them as jpgs. How do I resize?
tomwii-How did you guess..I am on AO-SMELL, LOL! And thanks for the link!
toolhound-If you don't resize..don't the pics come out HUGE on your auction page? And make it slower to load? I try to include as many photos as possible, so I've been resampling so they would load faster.
Last time I tried to get my software to upload my pics to AOL, it rejected! I tried to upload them the old way (directly from AOL) and alls I got was thumbnail images. What's the trick? Used to be able to get them in....
