I could really use some help here. I have checked the Pennys catalog and cannot find the size chart in it.

I have girls skirt that is 24" in the waist and 12" long. Also a matching jacket that is 27" around the chest and 13" long.

What size would this be? The tag in the neckline says medium.

I am guessing 10-12. Am I even close here?

If I had any daughters they could help with this, but we have 9 boys.

There should be pattern sizing charts on one of these sites:

http://www.simplicity.com Look under Fit Help

Keep in mind that each pattern company uses slightly different measurements for each size, and that a pattern size is often a size or two larger than ready to wear. That's why, in women's clothing, "it's only a number!"
