Anyone experiencing problems with VRANE? I've used them quite a bit (as a member) and just this morning, every item I try to snipe doesn't get accepted.

Anyone experiencing this?

The following notice is posted at the VRANE site:

Snipe and Relist operation are down. We will investigate the problem later in the day. Thanks for your patience.

Kind of interesting that this seems to say they aren't even going to "investigate" the problem until "later in the day."

It's LOUSY! considering I paid for six months of service (sniping).

I didn't lose out; I merely went to AUCTION STEALER (a free service) and got my bids in that way (I won!))

Most, if not all, of the problems VRANE experiences are due to eBay changes, so cut them some slack. The website provides alot of "bang" for the buck, so even if you are a paying subscriber, their services are well worth the cost.

I use Power Relister religiously and the feature has saved me a huge amount of both time and money.

Give them some time and I'm sure the problems with soon be corrected.

biggal... I am curious about auction stealer.
Have you used them before and what has your experience been like? I went to their site and noted you have to give your ebay password in order to sign up. That always makes me a little nervous. How secure are they?
I have used vrane many times in the past with great results, but this thread is making me think I need a back-up for a VERY big snipe I have coming up this weekend.
Thanks... Doc

I pay about a penny to Vrane for each relist they help me with, and believe me, this has got to be a labor of love for the person who runs it.

The site, when ebay is not screwing around with "improvements" and "enhancements" works like a charm, is elegant and easy.

Whatever problem they are having at the moment, I too will cut them as much slack as they need. I would be very unhappy if I didn't have them to speed my work.

yes, I believe VRANE is a good service and up until today have not had any problems with them.

but now, I do have a problem. THeir sniping feature is not working and they are dragging their feet to fix it! If I wasn't a paying customer, I wouldn't have the right to complain... but, I **AM** a paying customer and they should have had it fixed a long time ago.

AuctionStealer is wonderful. I signed up with both VRANE and AuctionStealer. Since I Pay for VRANE, they are my first choice and I've come to trust them. However, when they are down (as today), it's comforting to have AuctionStealer. I placed some snipes with AUCTIONSTEALER today when VRANE was down and it worked just fine. I won a very rare collectible! and if VRANE was my only choice, I wouldn't be getting it!
