I have tried all morning to remove the unasked for Billpoint Logo from my auctions. Everytime I unchecked Billpoint from the revised options and click on review changes, the page becomes unavailable. One time I was sucessfull in changing the item description to include this "<b>Please note: I do not take Billpoint as payment. Ebay has inserted, without my permission, their Billpoint logo into my auction and I am trying to remove it! I do not accept Billpoint.(They charge me too much and I prefer PayPal) Right now, I can't edit it out! I have tried 5 times! I have written eBay to cancel my Billpoint account as a result of their unilateral decision to force me to take Billpoint as payment. </B>" After that, revise auction ability has been down. I have tried all morning to change the rest of my auctions to reflect that I do not take Billpoint!
<p>
Billpain is still an option! I can't tell you how put out I am by this. I use my PayPal debit card to pay for gas and groceries and this and that! I just can't have two electronic accounts! I did email Billpain's customer service this morning to cancel my Billpain account, but it takes 24 hours for them to do this. My auction start price is $9.99 with buy it now of $9.99..so everything is bought with a buy it now! What to do? eBay is seriously hurting me.

What you may be able to do is bring up the auction and go in like you normally would by clicking on the Ebay revise option. When you get there, click on View at the top of your navigation bar and then view source. scan the entire area with your eyes and the HTML code for Billpoint, highlight it and delete it. Then ok your revisions by checking your auction, and tada. The logo should be out. I write my own HTML for my auctions, so I just go into my description area and removethe paypal information, if they slip it in. Since I turned off this prefernce to havethem auto add, no more logos.

Tried that, all it brings up is page cannot be displayed, it wouldn't work anyway, The Billpoint logo is not in my auction description. eBay is placing it above my description and to the right of accepted payment options. I have revised and clicked to remove the billpoint payment options, then verify and so on..all it brings up is page cannot be displayed...so the changes cannot take effect. I am very angry at Billpoint and eBay right now. I only have six auctions listed and have wasted a whole day on this.

So first they put the logos in when we don't want them. Now the system is not working properly so we can take them off?

*sigh*

I manually created an auction, did not click on billpoint, looked for the save preferences button.......and it was NOT there! eBay is still "tweaking" things for their benefit! The only thing I can do now is pray that my customers send via PayPal or check/money order. I really talk up PayPal in my auction description. So far..one sale..she used PayPal! Instant Pay..Last night. Still has not shown up on auction watch, and guess what, when I go into eBay to view this closed auction..the page cannot be displayed! What a hoot! But, the money is there in PayPal!
