safeharbour? I wish you can file a NPB thing after the auction closes. Look what I gotten, I had a OOP VHS tape, and it closed for 75.00! I thought it was odd that it closed so high, then I gotten an email right after the auction closed from the winner (who bidded on the item 20 seconds before closing)

------------------------
I have a question...right now I am the highest big for this movie, but I am studying abroad in Spain until July 13th. I donīt know how this whole ebay thing works and donīt know how soon I have to pay or anything. Can it wait til I get in the states because I donīt know if I can get a cashiers check here in Spain. Sorry for the inconvenince. Please email me back if you can.
--------------

I figured, sure I can wait for the payment. No problem here, was going to email her tellign her sure you can pay after the 17th of next month, but before I can, an hour AFTER the first email, I get this...

--------------------
This was my first time using ebay. I just signed up for it yesterday and I think I accidentally bid on a movie, something about dirt bikes? I donīt really know what to do. I donīt want it and think I made a big error. I am out of the country studying abroad in Spain with my college and am freaking out that I have to find American money to pay for some movie that I donīt even know what it is. Please help me. I have no idea what to do.
---------------------

HELP HER?! A movie SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS??!! I am out of a listing fee because of this! And this is fishy, for she apperently was WILLING to buy it based on the first email, and also bidded 20 seconds before auction closed, and was willing to bid a very large amount as well, so she must know what they were doing. This is SO frustrating! Why wount ebays let me file a NPB thing right after the auction ends? I can negative her, but i know many of you will say give her a chance. But this just smells fishy to me. What do you think?

I second the motion of "thetruthhurts."

Recently I gave a newbie with shades and 0 feedbacks 68 days to pay (from London). I had to leave town for 5 weeks in the middle of it. She was a horrible communicator. Now I wish I'd reported her to ebay almost immediately because by the time I got back to town it was past the 60 day limit with ebay. Even to get my FVF back. All I could do was to leave her her second feedback--and both are negatives.

I'll never let it go that long again.

They are just yanking your chain, nuke them and move on. Do file for your fees.

I'd wait until I could file my NPB notice, and do so. Sometimes, just receiving this email from ebay will get them moving (paying).

If it doesn't, then just request your FVFs and relist.

Sorry

Neg the idiot and maybe they'll take the time to learn how to be responsible. He's just begging to walk all over you, don't let him.
